Hi, I’m James

I’m a fully qualified automatic driving instructor based in Glasgow’s West End, with over 12 years’ experience teaching both manual and automatic. I now specialise in automatic driving lessons, helping learners become safe, confident and independent drivers.

I cover Partick, Hillhead, Hyndland, Kelvinside, Jordanhill, Anniesland, Knightswood, Maryhill, Drumchapel, Bearsden and surrounding areas.

Live outside these areas? No problem. We can arrange to start and finish your lessons at Partick train station, with easy subway and bus links making it a convenient meeting point.

I’ve helped hundreds of learners, many passing first time, and every lesson is tailored to the individual whether you’re a complete beginner, a nervous driver or looking for a refresher.

I’ve also had the opportunity to support learners with a wide range of individual needs, including amputees, people living with MS and neurodivergent learners. Everyone learns differently, so I take the time to understand what works for you and adapt my teaching where needed.

My aim is simple: to help you feel comfortable, supported and confident behind the wheel, while developing the skills you need to drive safely and independently.
